There are many money saving rebates and incentives available to Seattle Businesses towards the purchase of efficient products. Rebates and assistance provided by Resource Venture is a service of Seattle Public Utilities and the Saving Water Partnership.

Water Conservation Water Conservation

Your business may easily reduce water use and lower utility costs 20-30% by replacing inefficient equipment and changing operations.

Seattle Public Utilities and the Saving Water Partnership offer rebates on water-efficient fixtures for existing buildings and new construction projects.

 For example, you can: 

  • Receive $1,500 (PDF, 237 kb) to replace an inefficient food steamer

  • Get free toilets (PDF, 122 kb), or rebates worth up to $120 (PDF, 122 kb), for replacing each toilet or urinal fixture with an efficient WaterSense or FlushStar model  

  • Qualify for up to $500 (PDF, 122 kb) for each inefficient coin-operated clothes washer replaced with a high efficiency washer

  • Receive up to 50% (PDF, 122 kb) off the installed cost of many other water conservation measures

  • Receive rebates and technical assistance to upgrade existing automatic underground sprinkler systems

A variety of programs and incentives make Green Building more economically feasible than ever.

 

Waste Prevention Waste Prevention and Recycling

Waste prevention and recycling can save 20-30% on your business waste bills, bring you into compliance with Seattle’s paper, cardboard and yard debris recycling ordinance, reduce your carbon footprint and improve your company’s green image.

 

Spill Kit Stormwater Pollution Prevention

Resource Venture provides FREE pollution spill kits and plans to Seattle businesses to prevent oil, chemicals and other pollutants from spilling into the storm drainage system and going directly into our waterways without any treatment. Cleaning up is not just the right thing to do; it’s the law.
