Platinum Certifications

Beginning January 1, 2007, USGBC will fully rebate the certification fees for any project that earns LEED™ Platinum certification. Platinum buildings are highly energy and resource efficient; provide superior indoor comfort for the building's occupants; and dramatically reduce CO2 emissions. LEED™ for Existing Buildings Registration

Effective January 1, 2007, LEED™ for Existing Buildings registration is free for all certified LEED™ for New Construction and LEED™ for Core and Shell buildings. LEED™ for Existing Buildings addresses whole building operations and maintenance practices. LEED™ Technical Assistance

LEED™ Technical Assistance from the City's Green Building Team, the Lighting Design Lab and Resource Venture. Assistance includes facilitation assistance for up to two Building Design Charettes, assistance in maximizing the value of Seattle City Light Energy Smart Design Incentives or Seattle City Light Built Smart Incentives and Seattle Public Utilities Water Smart Technology Incentives and technical assistance.
